The Osprey Hotell Naas, A Hotel Review...

A quick hotel review:

Hubbie and I stayed here for two nights last week. €199 for mid week two nights B&B. Thought this is a reasonable price for a hotel in these times.

Here are some pics of bedroom:

We booked a standard double room.  Room was lovely, comfortable, clean, apart for some dust on base of bedside lamp.

We also had a nice surprise when we entered the room. The hotel had left strawberries dipped in chocolate and a lovely small box of Lily O'Briens chocolates.

Shame to open,it's so pretty.
Yum!

The bathroom was fabulous, very nicely designed, I thought.I don't have a good pic of the shower.

Like all hotels now a days the the bathroom products you get are not great quality, but sufficient.

The food was nice, nothing wow, but well cooked. Breakfast had all the usual.
We ate in the bar the first night. Bar menu had something for everyone and reasonable prices from about €12.
I had the Battered Cod and Hubbie had half Roast Chicken. I was happy with the Cod but Hubbies was not happy with the chicken, very little meat.

We had a couple of drinks in the bar afterwards. Very nice bar.

The second night we ate in the restaurant and had the early bird menu which was 2 courses for €24.50.

I had the steak 10oz (€5 Supplement) and Hubbie had Panfired Cod. Food was lovely, cooked beaufifuly and presented nicely.

I had the Blackberry and Apple Strudle and Hubbie had Ice-Cream,lovely.

We watched a match on one of the many tv's in the bar and in one of its many nooks and crannys.

Over all stay, was lovely, staff very efficient and friendly, good value for money, comfortable.

Visually this hotel has alot of things happening inside it. The interiors are a litlle hetic, way too much going on, however elements are lovely.

The pool was closed for maintenance on one of the days we stayed, which didnt bother us.

Would recommend it!

Slán!

  2. Well all I can do is compare them to American Hotels the handful of time I have gone and my comparison would be yes they are!! Irish hotels also seem to have larger rooms.
Hope you enjoyed the post and thanks for commenting!
