Up Cyclying Biscuit Tins... Part 2

This is second installment of my biscuit tin spraying......This was my first installment.
A Cadbury's Roses tin and a USA biscuit tin... and they turned out perfect

The tin in the background is the dud!

Tips for spraying tins:

• Wash them thoroughly
• Lightly sand them 
• Use a primer
• Spray many lights coats 
• Let each coat dry completely

When I tried this the first time I was unsure how many coats I would need to apply, one or two?? It is very pretty with one coat but then when you apply the second it looks like your second coat is smoothing out the texture....

In this pic you can see the first 2 nails are painted with one coat and is very pretty and I started painted the third nail and I kinda got nervous thinking the texture was gone....but ....

 The finished affect..love it!! This was the only colour left in my local Boots, which was a disappointment because I wasted one in each colour.

My foundation is in the colour 51 and is a perfect match to my skin.The foundation has a soft floral fragrance and applies smoothly.

My fav of these 2 was the lippy, colour fabulous, creamy and long lasting....but I am mad about the colour!!It's a perfect mix of pink and coral!

Dunlop Blizzard Wellies.....

So I have been on the hunt for wellies for ages and then I got a great deal on lovely Havaianas wellies in the January Sales....but after being farming for over 2 weeks now the wellies have split in the back. So I returned them and went off to my local NCF co op and bought myself a pair of Dunlop Blizzard Wellies.....

It is so hard to get a WORKING woman's wellie. My local co op had loads of choices for men, but poor selection for women. I really wanted pretty wellies but after looking for ages and having bad luck with the ones I bought. I went heavy duty (I think)....I would have thought that it was the norm for wellies to going up to the knee but it was not so in my local co op.And these are technically snow boots and they are three quarter length so not so bad I guess....

I also picked up new ones for Hubbie......

Lets see how we go with these!

Bake Day...Banana Bread!

A little baking has sorted me out.....just calm kitchen pottering with a yum result......Banana Bread!

I googled this recipe in 2006 and thanks to Darina Allen it has been a staple in our house since.

I left out the walnuts because Hubbie does not like nuts...

I love this with some butter and tea!

Sorry the pic quality is rubbish, but we will get the idea.

I love floaty,floral/cute pattern dresses. But I really don't feel like the suit me. I love the comfort of them.

Things I love about them..

• Comfort, they are not tight, loose around me and not sticking to me 
• Femine, girly and I love to wear a dress
• Lenght, I used to fight with this and I used to leave little loveies back on the rack because they were too short. But I was missing out on lovely dresses so I just have accepted that they are short and I wear black tights or leggins with them and off I go....I relented and accepted short dresses. I think its an age thing really, I am in my late 30's and I don't really think it's a good look for me to wear too short...
• Waist, the waist is never at my waist and I always feel like an empire line than a regular waist.

On a side note you may notice a I am wearing a pedometer on the top of my boot.I am doing a stepping challenge with work which has a daily challenge target number of steps. I am currently on 10K steps a day for the next 3 weeks.It's tough, trying to do 10,000 steps a day, it means I have to go on the threadmill for 45mins a day and also a half an hour walk at lunch break....
